Donald Westlake’s official site relaunches

Donald Westlake’s official site has been dormant since his passing, and it didn’t see a whole lot of action before then.

Happily, Westlake’s son Paul has taken the reins, and a revamped donaldwestlake.com launched a couple of weeks ago. It features a blog and a Twitter feed, and new goodies are being added at a rapid rate. Already up is a Dortmunder short story, in addition to the Starship Hopeful series of stories that Westlake posted when he was with us. More short stories are promised.

Inevitably, we’re going to overlap a bit, but the more the merrier as far as I’m concerned.

This is a good time to point out another Westlake-devoted website, Westlake Critic. Author Dave is attempting to review every Donald Westlake book. I’ve linked his reviews before in the Twitter feed, but since we’re talking about Westlake sites that aren’t mine, let’s highlight it today in case you hadn’t noticed.

Bookmark them both, and let’s hope for more Westlake resources in the future. Anybody want to launch The Crazy World of Dortmunder?
