Is there anyone out there that can recommend a good tool for WordPress for automatically sending blog posts to Twitter and automating this weekly news roundup? Both gadgets I had installed for those functions broke this week for no apparent reason. I’m compiling this one manually when I’m supposed to be watching football, dammit.

I’ll be rolling out the results of some serious research, mostly by others, over the course of the next couple of weeks. I don’t know if it will be of interest to you (I hope it is!), but it will add to the historical record. I hope to kick off the series tomorrow, but Tuesday is looking more likely.

There’s a great new book called Sutton, by J.R. Moehringer, about Willie “That’s Where The Money Was” Sutton’s release from jail in 1969, and his life before. It’s a novel, but there’s a wealth of info on Sutton, and the writing is damn good. Highly recommended, especially for people who are obsessed by Heisters, both real and fictional, like I am.
Sutton was one of the most successful and prolific Bank Robbers in American History.
Wow, Statham kind of resembles me in that pic where he’s wearing the Baseball cap and sunglasses. Except I’m a good half-foot taller than Mr. S.
I recently saw the film HEADHUNTERS, based on the novel by Jo Nesbo. I Can’t recommend this highly enough. It’s about a corporate recruiter who moonlights as an Art Thief, mainly to keep supporting his beautiful wife whom he believes would never stick with him if he were to not lavish her with gifts and a kuxorious lifestyle.
This is a gripping, nasty, brutal Crime film of the highest order. There’s a scene where Roger, the Thief, has to hide in a mountain of steaming Doo-Doo to evade being killed by a man whom he robbed (played by the dude who plays The Kingslayer on Game of Thrones). Easily ranks up there as the most goshdarn NASTY scene I’ve ever seen. I wanted to take a shower just watching it!;-) lol
The novel is excellent, and if you want to know how to successfully adapt a great novel into a great film, please watch this hugely entertaining Crime thriller.
On DVD, OnDemand, and Netflix (I think).
Man, that sucks about Tom Piccirilli! I will definitely be donating. F’ing Cancer. I hope he kicks it’s ass.
I’ll be going to see Reacher as a goof. I’m sure it’ll be more of a comedy than thriller, to me. For those unimpressed that we got Statham as Parker, just think: it could have been Cruise!;-) lol
I really codunl’t ask for more from this article.
