As Trent’s already mentioned—and nice scores there, sir—I won’t be blogging for a short while due to moving house—although I might, if you’re (un)lucky, find time to post something next week; we’ll have to see how we get on with the move. But before I vanish, I just wanted to draw your attention to this interview with spy novelist Jeremy Duns, which I posted on Existential Ennui on Sunday. Jeremy has written a trilogy of excellent espionage novels starring a traitorous secret agent, but more than that, he’s also a mine of information on classic thrillers, and in the interview we talk about the books he read as a boy, his favorite spy novels, how he writes, and much more besides. I was pleased with how the Q&A turned out, so do please give it a read. And I’ve also updated my Existential Ennui Beautiful British Book Jacket Design of the 1950s and 1960s gallery—that’s one of the new additions above—so now there are even more lovely jackets for you to salivate over while you await my (and Trent’s) return . . .
